This policy explains what information Sky Property Group (“we”, “us”) collects through skypropertygrp.com, how we use it, and the choices you have. Sky Property Group is a licensed Michigan real estate broker.

Information we collect

We only collect personal information that you choose to give us through a form on this website:

• Contact & evaluation form: first and last name, phone number, email address, the type of enquiry, and anything you write in the message box (for example a property address, size or timeline). If you tick the text-message box, we also record that consent.
• Listings newsletter: your email address, an optional first name, your consent, the time you signed up and the page you signed up from.

We do not collect financial account details, Social Security numbers, government identification or payment information through this website.

How we use it

We use your information to respond to your enquiry, provide the brokerage services you asked about, follow up on the transaction or search you contacted us about, and — only if you signed up — send you our listings newsletter. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for advertising or cross-context behavioural advertising. We share it only where needed to carry out a transaction you have asked us to work on (for example with a buyer, seller, landlord, tenant, lender, title company or attorney involved in that deal), with the service providers listed below, or where required by law.

Cookies and analytics

With your permission, we use Google Analytics to understand how visitors find and use this website — for example which pages are viewed, roughly where visitors are located (city or region), the type of device and browser, the site that referred you, and whether a contact form was submitted or a phone or email link was clicked. Google Analytics does not record your full IP address, and we do not use this data to identify you personally.

Google Analytics only runs after you click Accept on our cookie notice. If you click Decline, or simply ignore the notice, it does not run. When it does run, it sets these cookies:

• _ga — distinguishes one visitor from another; expires after 2 years.
• _ga_<ID> — keeps track of your current visit; expires after 2 years.

We have turned off Google’s advertising features (Google signals and ad personalisation), so this data is not used to target you with ads. Google processes it on our behalf under its own privacy terms; see how Google uses information from sites that use its services.

We also keep a few essential preferences in your browser that are never sent to us: your cookie choice, the date you closed the newsletter pop-up (so it is not shown again for 60 days), and a setting used only when we send a client a private review link.

You can change your mind at any time using Cookie Settings at the bottom of every page; choosing Decline stops analytics and removes its cookies. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or install Google’s Analytics opt-out add-on.

“Do Not Track” and Global Privacy Control

If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as a Decline and analytics will not run. Our website does not change its behaviour in response to the older “Do Not Track” browser setting, but analytics never runs unless you accept it. We do not allow third parties to collect information about your online activity across other websites through this site.

Service providers

• FormSubmit (formsubmit.co) delivers the contents of our website forms to our email inbox.
• Google Analytics (only if you accept) measures how the website is used, as described above.
• Google Fonts serves the typefaces on this site. Your browser requests the font files from Google, which receives your IP address as part of that request.
• Vercel hosts this website and keeps standard server logs (such as IP address and browser type) for security and reliability.
• Email newsletter provider: if you join our listings newsletter, your email address is stored with the email service we use to send it.

Each provider processes data only to deliver its service, under its own privacy terms. Links to social media profiles take you to those platforms, which have their own policies.

Email newsletter

We only email listings to people who have opted in. Every newsletter includes our mailing address and an unsubscribe link, and we honour unsubscribe requests promptly and always within 10 business days. You can also unsubscribe by emailing us.

Phone calls and text messages

If you give us your phone number, we may call or text you to respond to your enquiry. We will only send marketing text messages if you separately agree to them. Consent is never a condition of working with us. Reply STOP to any text to opt out; message and data rates may apply.

Confidentiality

Property evaluations, ownership details and transaction discussions are treated as confidential. If you are exploring a sale quietly, tell us — discretion is standard practice for us.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry information for as long as we need it to respond to you and to meet our record-keeping obligations as a licensed real estate broker. Newsletter information is kept until you unsubscribe.

Security

We use reasonable safeguards to protect the information you send us. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, so please do not send sensitive personal or financial information through our website forms.

Children

This website is intended for adults seeking commercial real estate services. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us to tell you what information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it at any time by emailing hiba@skypropertygrp.com or calling (248) 221-0591. We will respond within a reasonable time, and we will not treat you differently for making a request. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under your state’s privacy law; contact us and we will honour them.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will post the updated version on this page and update the effective date above. If a change materially affects how we use information you have already given us, we will tell you before it applies to that information.
